Jazz for the Younger Set at First Presbyterian Church, 8001 Mesa Drive (just south of Spicewood Springs).

St. Cecilia Music Series and the Central Time Jazz Collective Collective present Jazz for The Younger Set, a one-hour, free, educational discussion and demonstration of the basics of jazz music and performance. Central Time members will introduce, and demonstrate through very familiar music "turned into jazz", how jazz musicians 'think up' their solos on the spot, and conclude by approx 1/2 hour of jazz performance.

All school-age children are invited and must be accompanied by parent or guardian

Valentine's Day weekend show and fundraiser, with all ticket proceeds going to help prevent domestic abuse in Austin. Featuring singer Amy Zeller, with Jeremy Bell (sax), David Chao (piano), Chris Thompson (guitar), Bruce Logan (drums), and Daniel Durham (double bass).

Childcare (infants on up) during the performance is available ($5/child). Tickets $15/$12 for general and student/senior admission, but only $8 with canned/dry food contribution to Capital Area Food Bank at the door. Free parking (see map right here for details).
